Hinged Fly Screen Windows
How they work:
This fly screen window consists of a rectangular aluminium frame enclosed with a mesh. It is normally hinged in the same position as the existing window opening i.e. if the existing window opens outward the fly screen if fitted on the inside. This type of screen is usually held closed with a turn button when the widow is in the open position.
Suitability:
These fly screens for windows can usually be fitted over any UPVC, timber or metal casements and are suitable in most Commercial and Residential settings.




Available Options
Powder coated Aluminium profile is available in white as standard with a range of BS colours available that can be matched at an extra cost
Nylon Fibre Mesh is fitted as standard with Stainless Steel, Aluminium or finer midget meshes available which can be fitted where appropriate.
This screen is usually fitted on the inside, however, because of the durable powder coating, it can be fitted to external applications also.
Build-off frames are available for internal windows (e.g. to clear alarms) and Canopy frames for external windows (e.g. to allow windows open outwards)

Sliding Fly Screen Windows
How they work:
Suitability:
Mainly suitable for domestic or commercial kitchens where an obstruction prevents a hinged flyscreen from opening.

Fly Screens for Sash Type Windows
How they work:
This fly screen window operates in much the same as a sash window, a track is installed on each side of the window, the fly screen is installed and it slides up and down similar to the existing sash window. These fly screen windows complement the existing windows as they look the same.

This type screen is mainly used for pivot type windows but can also be used on some “Velux” type windows also.

How do I maintain my fly screens?
Simply clean powder-coated frames with a cream cleaner and wash mesh with soapy water. Stainless steel mesh can also be power washed if needed.
