How they work:
Standard fly screen doors are a lighter version of our heavy duty doors but fitted only with standard mesh throughout and without the support of a protective grille. The mitred corners are held together with strong metal keys that are riveted for extra strength.
Suitability:
Our standard fly screen for doors can be fitted over wooden, PVC and metal doors and are ideal for use on domestic or small industrial premises that do not receive frequent or heavy traffic.
Available Options:
Powder coated Aluminium profile is available in white as standard with a range of BS colours available that can be matched at an extra cost
Our standard insect screen doors are fitted with charcoal coloured fibre-glass mesh top and bottom as standard, however, a variety of mesh materials and weave sizes can be fitted to suit individual requirements.
This fly screen door can be fitted on both the inside and the outside.
A sub-frame is sometimes fitted to avoid the fly and insect screen door fouling the existing door or furniture or to bypass handles, alarms, locks, etc
Every standard duty door comes complete with its own self closer to help protect against flies, bees, wasps, midges and other flying insects. A selection of heavy-duty auto-closers is also available.

The powder coating can be cleaned with a cream cleaner to restore its original condition. All meshes should be cleaned with soapy water to remove grease and dirt. Stainless Steel mesh can be power washed if desired. Dusty screens should be vacuumed or brushed clean. EPC offer a repair service for all makes for Fly Screen windows and doors.
12 months on all workmanship under normal wear and tear, however this does not cover wear and damage to mesh.

How they work:
A roller track is installed over the top of the existing patio door and the fly screen door hangs from this, a small bracket is provided on the bottom to hold the door in place while sliding.
